During the first week of the month of June, the BFD team worked together to create a system we all love and understand in terms of storing, packing, and making Beauty Full Day products!

With the help of EasySpaceSolutions- Cristina transformed the BFD warehouse to something we all can easily navigate and feel confident about.

It all started with the need for a new organizational system. Honestly? The BFD warehouse was functional, but we often found it hard to walk around in there ( since we love reusing cardboard boxes for packing future orders) let alone pack orders, make products and everything in between.

First we started with taking before photos of everything from the storage closets & the warehouse, to the kitchen where Melanie makes all of our products! There was so much clutter and a lack of organization- which sometimes happens as small business go through growing pains. With days of endless organizing, recycling, conservation, and editing we were able to turn what once was a storage closet, into what is now the Beauty Full Room!

BFD Warehouse: We turned this room into “ the green room” which included clearing out the room, laying down the world’s biggest tarp and lots and lots of priming. Once we felt satisfied, we painted this room a beautiful shade of green, Oh Pistachio!

Storage Closet 1: What used to be sort of a junk closet, became a beautifully functional place to store all things paper and supplies! This includes the label maker, the printer, all of the recycled cardboard boxes, and everything that falls into the category of stationary. ✏️

Storage Closet 2: Now trademarked as the Beauty Full Room , this is where all things Beauty Full Day live! After removing clutter, cutting, sanding and installing shelves, this room is completely unrecognizable!! Everything is labeled and organized by product, and every-time I enter the room, I can’t help but beam with joy at how everything came together. Cristina is a FORCE to be reckoned with and we are all eternally grateful for her expertise with this project.

This project required the help of every last member of the Beauty Full Day team! While Cristina took charge, we were all more than happy to follow her directions and help wherever we could.

Alex and I did lots of priming and painting. We did lots of sorting, including making spreadsheets to see what we have, need, and don’t need. After that, we did more sorting and decreasing the amount of clutter to make things more practical.

Jes and Cristina did the heavy lifting- deciding where to start, and carrying that plan into execution. Working together, they came up with all the ideas on how to store products easily and efficiently, while making it look beautiful in the process!!

Carlos and I  ( mostly Carlos) became Bob the builder for a bit, and installed shelves in the Beauty Full Room, in order to maximize space and make sure everything has a home. Carlos also installed new shelves in the kitchen ( that Jes sanded and stained beautifully) and worked tirelessly to make them fit in a spot that didn’t seem viable- until it was!!!

Melanie and Kristy came to help with the editing, and getting rid of utensils and labels we no longer use. It was awesome to have all of us in the room at once, since we all have busy schedules and often have days where we don’t get to see each other.

Lastly, after all the hard work was done, Cristina and I took after pictures and videos, showing the vast difference in what the BFD warehouse used to be, and what it is now! Woot woot!

Being a part of this huge project made me realize how fiercely our team cares about Beauty Full Day and how we do things. I am grateful to know we CAN do hard things, and that we have the manpower ( more like woman power) to take on a big project like this, and come out stronger ( and more organized) on the other side!

If you came here from one our social media sites, yay!! All of the pictures are posted there, but this is the place to be if you love details like we do! Thank you for reading, and thank you for being here!

Nature Loves you! ☀️
